Our vision

Biblical foundation

Our vision is inspired by Psalm 1:3: They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

This verse reminds us that when we are rooted in God's love, we have the strong foundations we need to grow, flourish and positively impact the world around us. Just as a tree is nurtured by living water, we seek to provide a caring, inclusive and inspiring environment where every member of our school community can develop their unique gifts, show God's love through their actions, and bear fruit in their learning, relationships and lives.

At St. Mary’s, we are committed to nurturing a school community where every individual is rooted in love, supported to grow, and empowered to flourish.

We strive to be a fully inclusive school where everyone belongs, is valued, respected and celebrated for who they are. Guided by our Christian vision and values, we nurture a culture of kindness, respect and belonging, where people care for, encourage and serve one another. Through strong, positive relationships, we create a safe and nurturing environment where diversity is welcomed and every voice is heard.

We have high aspirations for all, providing a rich and engaging curriculum alongside the best possible learning experiences to enable every child to succeed and reach their full potential. We encourage aspiration, courage and resilience, equipping our children with the confidence, perseverance and skills they need for life beyond school.

Working in close partnership with families, staff, church and the wider community, we collaborate to ensure that all members of our school grow, support one another and achieve together.
