School Uniform
Ar St Mary's, we believe that wearing the correct uniform helps children feel a sense of belonging and ensures a consistent, smart appearance across the school.
Children are expected to wear a gold polo shirt, along with a school royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan with a school logo. This should be worn with grey or black tailored trousers, tailored shorts, tailored pinafore dresses or tailored skirts and black, navy or grey tights or any socks. In the warmer weather, blue gingham school dresses may also be worn.
Shoes should be fit for purpose and suitable for running around. They must be black and secured with a buckle, laces, velcro, zip or elastic. These can be trainer style shoes, provided that they are black.
Our uniform is designed to be practical for everyday learning while remaining appropriate for a primary school setting. We ask that children come to school in the correct school clothing each day.
Children wear their PE kit to school on their designated PE days. Our PE kit is a white t-shirt with black shorts, joggers, leggings or sport skirts and a school jumper. Children can wear any suitable trainers for PE.
We strongly encourage parents to label all items clearly with your child’s name. This helps staff return lost property quickly and reduces the chance of items being misplaced. If you need help with uniform requirements or sourcing options, please contact the school office so we can assist you.
