Our Governors

At St Mary’s Church of England Primary, our governors play an important role in supporting the school’s vision, safeguarding, and high standards of education for all children. We work closely with the headteacher and staff to ensure effective planning, responsible oversight, and continuous improvement. Our governance is strengthened through clear accountability and a shared commitment to Christian values and inclusive learning for every pupil.

St Mary’s is part of a multi academy trust, and our governors collaborate with the wider trust to share best practice and strengthen outcomes for pupils across the trust.
