Attendance

We believe that good attendance is essential for every child’s progress at our school. When pupils attend regularly, they build strong routines, develop confidence in the classroom, and are more likely to keep up with learning across subjects and key skills.

We work closely with families to support consistent attendance. If your child is unwell or unable to attend, please contact the school as soon as possible and follow our reporting procedures. Where there are barriers to attendance, we will work with you to identify practical solutions and offer guidance to help your child return and stay on track.

Parents and carers play a vital role in ensuring children understand the importance of coming to school every day. Please aim for punctual arrival, plan appointments around the school day where possible, and communicate early with us if circumstances change. Together, we can help every child benefit fully from their education and achieve their best.

Our school day begins at 8.50am and the gates open at 8.35am so that children are given sufficient time to be in class ready for registration. The school day ends at 3.20pm.
